Event Information
Ready, Steady, Ride:
Kids bike/scooter event in aid of building Water Wells in around the world
Challenge
For ages 3 - 11, we invite participants to join us at our venue to ride/scooter 1 to 5 miles (they can do as much or as little as they like) in aid of building water projects. Participants will be awarded a medal for their amazing efforts.
Each child must have a guardian and they remain your responsibility.
Fundraising
The target fundraise is £50. Don't worry if you have never fundraised before, our experienced team will reach out and give lots of tips. What's even more amazing is that if the participant reaches £250 we will personalise a water well in their name as well as provide pictures.
Bouncy Castle
There will be a bouncy castle on site with allocated times for age groups. Exc Birmingham (but don't worry you have a balloon modeller :D)
Refreshments
Drinks and snacks will be available for sale on the day.
Water Project Report
Our mission is to inspire young children to engage with charitable causes while promoting fitness and healthy living.
To date, our young heroes have raised over £123,444, enabling the construction of:
- 346 hand pumps
- 20 deep wells
- 4 filtration plants
- 1 water facility
- 10 ablution areas
2024 Achievements
£71,444 raised to support the development of:
- 3 water filtration plants
- 10 ablution areas
- 1 deep well
- 1 water facility
- An incredible 188 hand pumps
Countries: Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Syria, and Indonesia (in partnership with One Nation Charity)
2023 Achievements
£38,000 raised to fund:
- 1 water filtration plant
- 19 deep wells
- 101 hand pumps
Countries: Pakistan (in partnership with SKT Welfare)
2022 Achievements
£14,000 raised to build:
- 57 wells
Countries: Philippines and Bangladesh (in partnership with Your Legacy Global)
